The storms of life

by Linda Messner

A large portion of the United States is coated with ice.  Hundreds of thousands of people are without electricity, as the weight of the ice tears down power lines and creates hazardous conditions.

Driving to work this morning was a challenge.  Cars were sliding.  It’s hard to walk without slipping.

But wait … the Psalmist assures me that my footsteps will always be confident and secure, that pathways will be cleared for me because God loves and cares for me.

“You broaden the path beneath me,

so that my ankles do not turn.”

Psalms 18:36 NIV

Praise God for His watchful care!
