Risky stock portfolios

by Bruce Wadd

Anyone dabbling in stocks and options will know that risk is part of the game.  But at certain times in the world’s financial history extreme volatility is normal.

Economists and financial planners will tell you that high risk often means high return.  Balanced and safe portfolios lead to much lower returns, so your job as an investor is to decide where you want to put your collateral, high risk or safe portfolios.

In God’s kingdom, as you might expect, the rules are often totally the opposite.  The safest investment will lead to the most growth.  The no-risk option is really the only way to go!

“…we grow only as we get our

nourishment and strength from God.”
Colossians 2:19b

What is God saying to you about your options?  To love Him means taking a risk in the short term, but leads to absolute certainty for eternity.

TODAY, consider your eternal investment options!
