ShareSong.org goes to Africa…

It’s been exciting to have received some interest recently in ShareSong.org from Africa. We have sent some promotional packs over to individuals who said they would like to spread the word about ShareSong.org.

We’re hoping that people who may not normally be able to afford to access the latest commercially available praise and worship might be able to find some great new praise and worship music online that they can download for free from ShareSong.org.

Chris Fitzell

'Everything I See' is Chris Fitzell’s latest EP release, with all songs sung by Emma Castle (pictured). Everything I see is a blend of vibrant praise, warfare, longing, tenderness and worship drawing closer to Jesus. 'Greatest God' is the standout track. You can just see large gatherings of young people belting out this modern anthem. 'Everything I See' continues with the same quality as ‘Undivided’, which is currently keeping Chris high up on the ShareSong.org stats.

Jared Johnson

Jared Johnson is the Worship Leader at Anchorchurch in Muskogee, Oklahoma. His prophetic and intimate worship music documents spiritual growth in Anchor as well as in his own life. He believes that God is speaking and moving and that these songs will usher in His healing and deliverance. "My Soul Surrenders" is sung by Jared's wife Shannon and is featured this month on ShareSong.org.

Wayne Rogers

Wayne has been performing music since the age of 11 and producing albums since 1991. Wayne has produced 2 concert albums of original music and three worship CDs. His music has a strong rock feel. Check out some of Wayne’s new material at ShareSong.org.

David Delgado

David has been writing worship music for seven years since he came to the lord at the age of 22. It has always been his desire to share these songs beyond his own church walls. David’s songs are birthed from healing, intimacy, restoration and worship in his own life and now his desire is to see these songs birth the same or more in fellow worshipers. David’s message is one of healing and restoration through worship as well as through ‘being still’ before God which he believes is the ultimate test of faith. The song “Your Love is Amazing” was written three days before the birth and death of his son. David and his wife, now see this song as a gift from God as they mourn with an unrelenting peace surrounding their hearts.

It’s nice to have things continue to trend upwards with the stats as the word spreads about ShareSong.org. We’re up to two and a half thousand visitors each day. The graph below shows the consistent growth since ShareSong.org started out.

And these visitors are downloading more nearly 6000 music (e.g. sheet music, real audio, chord charts) files each day.

Songwriters contributing an average of four songs to the site each day. There’s currently 1457 songs in the database.

We hope you get to check out a few of the great new songs that have been added over the last few months.
