Cold blast

by Bruce Wadd

Standing on my closest hill is common for me in the early morning.  Being able to see long distances is also a regular occurrence.

But in summertime it is not normal to be standing there with a heavy winter jacket and freezing hands.

The cold snap over the last 24 hours has brought some of the lowest temperatures in recorded history for summertime.  But as I stand here the benefits are obvious – there is clarity in the air.  I can see long distances, even to the furthest horizon!

The miraculous part about difficulties and challenges in your life is the clarity and perspective they bring in hindsight.

How’s your vision today?  Clear from past problems?  Or clouded by current challenges? In Him everything will pass, and will become clear!

“There is now NO CONDEMNATION awaiting those

who belong to Christ Jesus. For the power of

the life-giving Spirit… has freed me
from the vicious circle of sin and death.”

 Romans 8:1,2
