Multiply by ZERO by
Being a primary school teacher means that many times I have tricked kids in Maths tests using multiplication. “What is 16 times 7 times 45 times zero?” goes the question. Many a child will respond with a frown, a puzzled look, whining “you can’t possibly expect me to know that answer – it’s way too hard,” they whinge.
And then someone in the class will twig, and call out – ZERO!!
Then comes that important teaching moment, when you can share with the students a simple truth - anything multiplied by zero is always zero.
God must have created this rule for life too! Outside of Him we are doomed – the answer will always be zero. Jesus summarised it really well... your life is one big fat ZERO without Him!
“I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one can get to the Father except by means of me.” John 14:6
TODAY, become more than ZERO in Him!
