The world record by Bruce Wadd
“I know it's not for everybody but I'm certainly getting a lot out of it." These are words spoken by one ‘crazy’ man!
A twenty-six year old Englishman was interviewed by media in Adelaide, a city over halfway through his world record attempt. He was skateboarding his way into the Guinness Book of World Records by propelling himself all the way across Australia, from Perth to Brisbane, a total distance of 6000 kilometres.
But I want to pose the question, how crazy do you think he was? Or was he living on the edge, living a dream, knowing that for him it was the right thing to do?
What’s the world record inside you? What seed is sitting dormant waiting to be planted, and given a chance to grow?
Why not step out ‘of the boat and walk on water’, set your ‘world record’ with the idea … the passion … the dream that God has sown inside! Take time to listen, and then act upon God’s mission for your life!
