Warm winter’s bed by
It’s wintertime and the last thing you want to do is extract your body from the snugly warm blankets that cocoon you. The sun has yet to rise and your partner is just starting to nuzzle into you in semi-consciousness, groaning something about the need for extra cuddles.
What a dilemma - your bladder is shrieking release, but your bed has captured you with its warm tentacles, smothering you with its tenderness! But you know… if you don’t do something soon – there could be disaster! To make matters worse your alarm begins to punctuate the seductive lingering of the winter’s warmth.
Sometimes true understanding does not come till you have obeyed! If you want God’s abiding love and blessing you need to follow Him. There is only one way… God’s!

Obedience sometimes is
the same as climbing out of a nice warm bed, and letting your feet touch the
freezing tiles of your bathroom floor. You don’t necessarily feel like doing
what you’ve been told, but you know that through the pain victory is won, and
intimacy with God is heightened.
