Who knows you! by
There’s a saying that’s very true. “It’s not what you know, but who you know.”
This cliché seems to apply to many areas of life - getting jobs, discovering business opportunities, meeting friends… and so on. In positive and strong relationship many things happen that otherwise would grind to a halt! It’s your family, your friends and associates that become your greatest assets in life!
But let me turn this paradigm on its head. In the natural world ‘who you know’ is critical. But when it comes to the spiritual world, the opposite is the case.
“It’s not who you know or what you know, but who knows you.” This is the essential foundation to an ongoing spiritual walk with God.
The fact that God, through Jesus Christ, knows you intimately changes everything. This is your spiritual heritage, finalised through the death and resurrection of Jesus.
And what can be your response? Watch how the healed blind man responded to Jesus when asked, ‘Do you believe in the Messiah?’
“Yes Lord, I believe!” John 9:38
