When wrong becomes right! by
God has an amazing ability to take a negative experience and use it to build stronger and better character in us. Let me illustrate…
In October our hibiscus are in full bloom. Along comes my wife with her sharpened secateurs and chops back the flowering plant. It has gone from a wonderful blossoming masterpiece to a severely beaten and bruised plant specimen.
Why do something so harsh, seemingly so wrong, to such a wonderful looking plant?
My wife, in her wisdom, instructs me about some basic horticultural facts. If you want even better blooms in the next 12 months, the hibiscus bush needs to be trimmed, sometimes quite severely.
I wonder how that applies to your life? Are parts of your life being pruned at the moment? Have you had difficult experiences occur at various points throughout your life?
Remember… God can turn it around for you, but like the hibiscus, it might take some time!
