I really want to talk

by Bruce Wadd

The value of relationship can never be underestimated, particularly those between family members.  Father-son, mother-daughter, ‘whole of family’ conversations have the potential of laying the foundation for future successes in offspring’s lives.

Having older teenagers/young adults means I regularly just want to talk with my children - to discover a little of what is happening in their lives; to listen to their aspirations, their challenges, their hopes and dreams.  I just really want to talk – thanks goodness for coffee shops!

God’s desire for long-term relationship is so much greater than earthly connections - He longs for our attention! He just wants to talk, especially seeing we are His children!

Why don’t you take some time TODAY to talk to those people that are really valuable to you – wife, husband, son, daughter, mother, father etc.  And also, take time to communicate with God!

“This is one thing I know: God is for me!”

Psalms 56:9b

TODAY, intentionally talk with those important to you!
