'Want to' heart by Bruce Wadd
Cody was sent to the ‘thinking chair’, a ‘time-out’ place for the Grade 4 student to contemplate his choices. Five minutes later, he was still there, fidgeting, looking out the window, and obviously not ready to return.
Cody defiantly yelled, “Yeah, I’m sitting down on the outside, but I’m standing up on the inside.”
Real obedience is a ‘want to for God’. Anything less is merely outward show. Is it possible to get a 'want to' heart?
“For God is at work within you, helping you want to obey Him, and then helping you do what He wants.” Philippians 2:13 Are you sitting or standing? TODAY!
