Waiting room

by Bruce Wadd

The pensive, strained, even scared looks caught my attention.  I was entering the oncology waiting room for the first time.  This was a new experience for me!

Some patients were wearing bandanas, some bandages, some were hobbling, and most looked far from happy.

My heart immediately leapt to the positive.  How lucky am I to have life!  What a privilege it is to be able to walk, talk, see, hear, and breathe!

And death, where does it fit within the scheme of things?  Doesn’t it bring us closer to our eternal reality?

Today, don’t finish it wondering, wanting more, not being satisfied!

Go out! ... Appreciate the sun, your home, the people you love, the pets that bring you joy, the foods you enjoy … and much more!

WHAT A PRIVILEGE IT IS TO BE ALIVE!

"I will praise the Lord no matter

what happens.  I will constantly speak

of His glories and grace."

Psalms 34:1

TODAY, let life's waiting rooms inspire you… for Him!
