Username and password

by Bruce Wadd

It’s frustrating isn’t it?  Having so many usernames and passwords?

In our modern society there are increasing numbers of situations where you need the tools of identification – banks, computer networks, chat rooms, telephone access, online banking etc.

Only recently I discovered something that makes it much easier.  Because I am a constant internet user, I have joined many different subscription opportunities that require a username and password.  Having subscribed you receive an email with your new details, and immediately I logon to the site changing the password to my standard one.  (You gain access to my whole life if you discover this password!)

Over time the various logons use the same password – great for those with memory like mine!

God, in His wisdom, has allowed many different churches and denominations to develop in our world.  Many claim to be the right church… and I am not challenging that today!  But, thank God… we only need one password – Jesus Christ!

You have a unique username – [insert your name here] – and your password – [Jesus Christ] - gives you unlimited access to eternity.

“All of you together are the one body of Christ and each one of you is a separate and necessary part of it.”

1 Corinthians 12:27b

Why not logon, TODAY?
