Uniform posture

by Bruce Wadd

I noticed it on the first day of our cruise, the ship personnel and their brilliant white uniforms.  It wasn’t their tidy pristine look; rather, it was their posture that caught my attention.

It seemed that as soon as the uniform went on, the walk, the talk and the look transformed into this ‘I’m in charge here’ demeanour.  Confidence, almost arrogance, oozed from these staff members, knowing that they held a responsible position of significance within their world!

With great manners and posture the staff of our cruise ship related incredibly well to their passengers, and we all felt welcomed on board!

Are you walking in your posture?  You are a child of God, a partner in an eternal kingdom!  You have the power and authority, given from Jesus, to take charge of this world!

Would I notice if you walked past?

“I want to remind you to stir into flame

the strength and boldness that is in you,

that entered into you when I laid my hands

upon your head and blessed you.”

2 Timothy 1:6

TODAY, Use your God-inherited posture well!
