Tsunami run out

by Bruce Wadd

There have been reports from various places around the Indian Ocean, before the Boxing Day tsunami, some coastal areas saw the ocean recede up to three kilometres.

The beach was exposed. The plant life, the sea creatures, the rocks, the coral and sand were laid bare to the tropical sun before disaster struck. Then the destructive rush of water hit coast lines, leaving devastation beyond belief.

Let me pose a similar question via several statistics. Did you know that Australia, a supposed Christian nation, has had a twelve percent decline in church attendance over last decade. Other western countries have shown similar trends.

I wonder, if this means, like the receding waterline, we need to prepare for a huge influx of people seeking truth, and finding God, wanting fellowship in church?

Let me project forward. I see a time coming where we face two things. Firstly, an imminent explosion of the Holy Spirit in individual’s lives - a revival is coming like never before!

Secondly, and simultaneously, I see destructive evil forces coming against the new Spirit in people’s lives.

Are you ready for onslaught of Holy Spirit? Are you attached to the One, the only One that can help you survive?

The answer lies within Jesus’ story of the ten virgins.

“So stay awake and be prepared, for you don’t know

the date or moment of My return.”

Matthew 25:13

TODAY, the run out tells you something. Are you ready?
