The oven’s on by
Put yourself in this scenario for a moment. You’ve had this beautiful cake at a party, been given a copy of the recipe, and return home with the desire to make it yourself.
Now, with some time on your hands, you get out the recipe, sit it on the bench and begin reading. You go to the pantry and begin searching for all the ingredients. Part way through this process you turn the oven on in preparation.
With timer set you now sit and enjoy the coffee you’ve been looking forward to. You don’t need to stand over the cake and make sure it is working. No, the oven is doing its work without any assistance from you. Everything in order, working as you planned!
Peace of mind comes from knowing that everything is in place.
So too with your life! God is working in you daily as you allow Him access. The great thing is that all you have to do is believe and be obedient to what He asks – God will take care of your desires!
“I have been crucified with Christ; and I myself no longer live, but Christ lives in me. And the real life I now have within this body is a result of my trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20
TODAY, allow God to do the changing… the oven’s on!
