The last moment

by Bruce Wadd

We were stressed. It was looking like we would have to rent a home for a time seeing we couldn’t find a suitable home.

The contract on our existing home was to be finalized in fourteen days. Despite looking for several months we had yet to find a dwelling which we both agreed would suit our family’s needs, and give us the lifestyle we desired.

Then almost down to the last hour an agent rang and said, “Have you looked at a particular property?” “No, I haven’t,” I replied, “but does it fit my criteria.” “I believe so,” he tentatively answered, and within minutes both of my wife and I were in the car and heading towards a new estate.

It was only a matter of an hour later that we signed the contract, negotiating on an acceptable price for this almost new home. We breathed a sigh of relief, we’d found something right at the last moment!

It all works out in the end is much easier said than done. In hindsight I merely had to trust in the journey.

So to with God… things work out in His time. It’s a matter of being patient and keeping on walking… in Him!

“And we know that all that happens to us is working for our good if we love God and are fitting into His plans.” Romans 8:28

TODAY, walk the journey, right to the last moment!
