The Ekka pass

by Bruce Wadd

Every year Australian towns and cities hold a fascinating phenomenon, their annual exhibition, celebrating the rural expertise of the local area.  In Brisbane this celebration is proudly called ‘The Ekka’.

Many traditions are linked with this ten-day event, none more basic than what happened to me the other night.

Because I worked for a member of the Show Society, I was given access to the event.  This allowed me many privileges that wouldn’t normally be mine – easy and direct entry; permission to relax in the member’s lounge; warm acknowledgement from other members.

I was amazed!  Because of one simple piece of plastic hanging around my neck, all these rights became mine.

You have been given an eternal pass!  It gives you opportunities that are ‘beyond this earth’, far outweighing the Ekka plastic pass.

“For only we who believe God
can enter into His place of rest.”
Hebrews 4:3

Why not use your eternal pass, TODAY?
