T-intersection

by Bruce Wadd

You see them everyday, particularly if you live in a heavily populated area.  T-intersections give you a choice!  You can go this way or that way!

When you arrive at the point there is often a give way or stop sign, a roundabout or set of traffic lights.  Each of these solutions, in their own special way, offers you a choice.  It is up to you to decide which way to go.  Not making a choice really is not an option because you will just stay at the point of decision.

This is exactly the same when you are working with people.  Often through human interaction difficult situations arise, misunderstandings happen, and you are offered a choice – an intersection of opportunity!

You can either retaliate when you are wronged or build towards resolution through forgiveness.  Retaliation or resolution – it’s your choice!

Here is the simple lifestyle a Christian is instructed to lead…

“Be gentle and ready to forgive; never hold grudges.  Remember the Lord forgave you,

so you must forgive others.”

Colossians 3:13

TODAY, when at a T-intersection, consider your choices carefully!
