In all these situations there is normally a huge struggle going on. Fighting and resistance continue until the animal finally submits, relinquishing their will to yours. Even then it is often only through force.
You and I can be similar to animals. You may know what is right, you may even have a clear picture of God’s will for your life, but how often do you resist actually doing it, preferring your own wisdom instead!
God is such a patient God, and will never force His will upon you. Rather, He will patiently wait till you are at your lowest point, when there is no other option than a ‘heavenly rescue’, and then He will respond when asked.
When you finally submit to God’s will, He can then begin to open His ‘blessing cabinet’, and pour out His tremendous love for you.
“O my people, trust Him all the time. Pour out your longing before Him, for He can help!” Psalms 62:8
TODAY, submit your life to God… and be blessed!
