Sound-action

by Bruce Wadd

It happens a lot more than you think - the connection of sound and action! They are virtually inseparable.

Upon hearing the sound have you ever looked for the plane as it flies overhead? Finally, after a search you discover this mechanical bird against a deep blue background.

As you look down the street, have you seen someone slam a car door? You confirm your eyesight when you hear the sound that follows.

In the distance have you heard the sound of an axe chopping wood? You spend time searching the foliage till you find the source of the noise.

When was the last time you sat in a coffee shop and heard the sound of a familiar voice? Your eyes quickly dart around the crowd, searching for the face of the recognizable tone.

Making the connection between sound and action seems to bring a minute sense of victory for me. It confirms what one sense discovered!

Let me make another connection for you that is far more apparent. The actions of today will reap a harvest – you decide whether that harvest is good or bad by the choices you make!

“Don’t be misled; remember that you

can’t ignore God and get away with it;

a man will always reap just the kind of crop he sows!”

Galatians 6:7

TODAY, make the connections – you will reap what you sow!
