Seeping and soaking

by Bruce Wadd

Sitting here watching the growing light and listening to the quietness of dawn move through my whole being reminded me of a simple analogy.

When I put a sponge onto a plate with some water, if allowed to stand for a while, the sponge fills with water.  The next time you go to pick it up, it will probably look the same as before, but it will be much heavier and more solid, oozing water.

Today, how much have you soaked up God’s presence in your busyness?

Have you let His Spirit seep into your most intimate parts?

When people connect with you, will they immediately become aware of something special inside you?

Seep and soak for a while right now!!  David said…

“I am always thinking of the Lord; and because he is so near, I never need to stumble or fall.  Heart, body, and soul are filled with joy.” Psalm 16:8,9
