Room temperature

by Bruce Wadd

What is room temperature?  Isn’t it whatever the temperature is within the room at any particular time?

But what happens if it’s incredibly hot, or frigidly cold in the room, is it still ‘room temperature’?

Today, I wanted to challenge you to think about 'truth'.  Is there any absolute truth?  Laws that don’t change?  I hear and see people, especially Western media and political circles basing their thinking and actions upon relative truth – what’s right for the situation?

In my work as chaplain, I am challenged every day to live my Christianity transparently.  It’s much more demanding than I first thought!

My questions to you – Can you live in a ‘relative truth world’ with an absolute God?  I wonder what your answer will be.

Do we know God’s perspective?

“He is the Holy Spirit,

the Spirit who leads into all truth.”

John 14:17
