Just watched the movie, ‘Million Dollar Baby’, where Clint Eastwood plays a boxing trainer with an estranged daughter. At regular intervals through the movie you get a glimpse his pained heart.

Every week he would arrive home, open his front door to receive yet another letter readdressed – ‘return to sender’. Never opened! Never read! NO REPLY!

Evidence of his broken and hurting heart shows up in various ways through the movie, often through his lack of emotion towards others. His transfer of energy, his devotion to his boxers, especially the ‘Million Dollar Baby’, highlighted his huge and genuine desire to love and give to others.

How often is God getting your mail returned? Are you avoiding Him? Have you been responding lately to His callings?

His heart longs for intimacy with you. Here’s how you can respond…
