Regular attention

 by Bruce Wadd

The other day as my wife and I were wandering around our lush, tropical garden, we both looked at the small vegetable section and noted that the newly dug soil had a couple of self-sown plants.

Being early summer, and knowing how quickly things grow during this time of year, we both commented that we must pull those shoots out before they takeover, but then actually forgot to do it!

One week later, after a hectic week at work, another wander around our paradise showed weeds, pumpkin vine, tomatoes and other various new plants, and all with no attention from either of us.

At this point my wife said something more profound than what she initially thought.  “Our garden certainly needs regular attention,” she uttered. The evidence was there in front of us both!

Let me apply this to your life. Do you need regular attention, like a sub-tropical garden in early summer? Are there things happening in your life that are unexplainable?

Here’s a simple truth for you to state...

“This I declare, the he alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I am trusting Him.”

Psalms 91:2

TODAY, treat your life like a garden, with regular attention!
