The red line

How recently have you opened processed cheese? Various cheese producers package individual slices of this yellow dairy food especially for sandwiches.

On each slice is a covering of plastic and near the end of the plastic is a red line, designed to assist the cheese lover open the wrapping.

Recently I bought a different brand, and became highly distressed when opening the first slice – there was no red line! The time I spent scratching around the plastic was not appreciated … maybe I should grow my fingernails!

I’ve heard of people that wonder whether God speaks to them. Other people wonder what God’s will is for their lives. Many people spend lots of time scratching around, looking for the opening to this hidden secret – is God really interested in my detail?

Are you one of these people? Do you find it hard to hear from Him? All I can encourage you to do is … spend time listening. He has provided the answers!
