Purring by
As soon as the hand touched the purring started. It was quiet to begin with, but the intensity increased as the kitten settled in for her snooze.
The new feline, typical of the cats in my family over the years, is always ready to be patted, to relax on our laps, in our arms or on our shoulders. It just loves being near someone.
When you spend time with Him, do you immediately calm down, and soak up His being.
I have found, particularly during time in prayer, that I become calmer when with God. It is such a refreshing time… a needed daily part of my life!
Let me encourage you this morning to just relax in His presence. Start ‘purring’… letting Him speak to you of His love, His wisdom, His insight into the future. You will come away refreshed, invigorated and inspired.
“But the loving kindness of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting, to those who reverence him;” Psalms 103:17

just amazes me how much humans are like kittens. Do you get to the stage
with your relationship with God that you just hunger His presence?
