Pure sunshine by
My sister lives in the north eastern part of USA. Having been there a short time she finds the winters very long compared to where she grew up.
But there were ‘smiles on the email’ received from her recently following a week’s escape to a Caribbean island. From short days, freezing nights, snow and ice, frozen ground and little sun, she and her family spent a week soaking up the warmth, swimming in warm water, and generally enjoying life.
So to, when sin is finally acknowledged, and you ask for forgiveness from God, He has promised to cleanse your life and make it pure and clean. The smile arrives!
If you are in the middle of winter in your life, things seem to be full of unwanted junk and there is no purity in your heart, confess everything to God, open your life to Him, and let Him cleanse and purify you.
Like the Caribbean sun shining on your body, the purity of sin-free living is something to be desired!
If your eye is pure, there will be sunshine in your soul.” Matthew 6:22
TODAY, remember the warmth of the sun in winter time!

I can imagine after
suffering a long winter, standing in the sunshine, letting each precious ray of
warmth filter into the innermost part of your being - a content smile on your
face!
