Public holiday peace by
The relatively new estate I live in was silent as I walked its streets. People had not risen - they were still cozy and warm in their early winter’s snooze.
An unusual quietness and peace hung over this dormitory suburb. It was a public holiday… And I was out appreciating the moment!
How many times does your life offer a peaceful pause? Where things are quiet, there is no pressure, and you just absorb the peace?
Allow yourself a holiday, even for a few minutes, and listen! God may have something to say in the quietness!
“I am listening carefully to all the Lord is saying – for He speaks peace to His people, His saints, if they will only stop their sinning.” Psalms 85:8
