Stuck in plan B by
I have spent quite a few years training people in computer, thus having a back-up plan for when things go wrong is standard practise. You almost assume that the careful planning that has been carried out is going to work ninety percent of the time, and the other ten percent is destined to ‘go weird’ when you least expect it.
It’s the usual story. If Plan A fails you go to Plan B. And of course, those resourceful ones have plan C and D up their sleeves as well.
Let me challenge you with a new idea. Being a new Christian you now understand that Jesus Christ came to die for you – salvation! The devil, I believe, works incredibly hard at trying to keep people away from ever discovering the joy and freedom that the Gospel brings.
But Jesus didn’t orchestrate saving you, and the rest of humanity, to leave you here. He has started a process of bringing you back into an ever-growing relationship with Him. Our eternal life has started right here and now.
The devil’s Plan B now falls into place. Many new Christians are hidden or distracted from a constantly growing and vital union with God because of the lies of Satan.
Here‘s just one of them. Our struggles are something we are just going to have to live with till Jesus comes back. You are not going to get over them! WHAT A LIE!
Let me shatter the evil of being trapped God’s profound truth…
“For the Scriptures insist we are all its prisoners. The only way out is through faith in Jesus Christ; the way of escape is open to all who believe Him.” Galatians 3:22
TODAY, plan A will work… believe in Jesus!
