PBPGINFWMY

by Bruce Wadd

Think of the different places that you see construction happening - the highway, the internet, city centre, the shopping centre, the suburb housing estate!  Around each of these sites signs are used to let the public know what is going on!

On the highway signs declare a change of speed plus ‘Roadworks in Progress’.  Websites regularly have pages announcing ‘under construction’ or ‘pages being updated’.  Some shopping centres seem to regularly have sections closed for renovation, stating another exciting shop soon to be open for business.

In all of these you sometimes see the statement, “Thank you for your patience as we…”

I have often thought that we as humans need a similar type of message.  “Please be patient, God is not finished with me yet!”  Thus the above sign!

You are a ‘work in progress’, under reconstruction, but very much open for God’s business as you grow and change.  Your life is, and will be under constant refinement, preparing for life forever in heaven!

“…And as the Spirit of the Lord works within us,

we become more and more like Him.”

2 Corinthians 3:18b

TODAY, wear your PBPGINFWMY sign with pride!
