Oxygen thieves

by Bruce Wadd

There may be some people in this world that you would consider ‘oxygen thieves’.  Crazy motorists, rapists, drug dealers, corporate swindlers, paedophiles, wife-cheaters… and the list goes on!

All these people, from a human perspective, really need to pay for the consequences of their actions, and should be distrusted immediately.  They steal life from others, and are only interested in their own well-being.

Are you any different?  Is there another way of looking at these people?

God, through Jesus, made it really clear that these people are better referred to as ‘grace-growers’ – individuals who really test your parameters of patience and understanding.

Think of a person that really pushes your buttons – is only an ‘oxygen thief’.  Here is Jesus’ perspective on that person….

“And this is the will of God, that I should not lose even one of all those He has given Me, but that I should

raise them to eternal life at the Last Day.”

John 6:40

TODAY, take a deep breath!
