Out of sync by Bruce Wadd
I had the privilege of attending a multi-cultural conservative church recently in my role as school chaplain. On this particular day, the congregation had a visiting older minister.
It was awkward, particularly for those musicians in the congregation!
Ever wondered whether doing your own thing will get you further away in life than following God’s will? If you're anything like me you've not only thought, but acted!
Here's the alternative that I wished I had discovered and followed many years ago.
"Ask and you will be given what you ask for. Seek, and you will find. Knock and the door will be opened." Matthew 7:7

At
one particular point during the service, he was leading a well-known hymn,
and before the end of the first verse he became noticeably out of sync with
organ and piano playing.
