On the hoist

by Bruce Wadd

What do taxis do when they need repair?  Yes, they have to get things fixed sometime!  But think about that idea for a moment.  Because the car earns money by being on the road, any time not delivering people means a loss of income.

Not only does the repair work require money, but the time taken, costs possible fares.  Thus, a taxi owner wants repair work to take as little time as possible, so he can get the income-producing vehicle off the hoist and back on the road.

There may have been times in your life when you have needed ‘time-out’.  It may be that right now is one of those times, where you need physical, emotional or spiritual restoration.  Allow yourself the time it takes to get better, because once healed you become a powerful agent for God and His mission on this earth.

“Everything is appropriate in its own time.

But though God has planted eternity in the hearts of men, even so, man cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.”

Ecclesiastes 3:11

You may be in forced ‘down time’, but remember, it is all part of God’s plan!

TODAY, stay on the hoist if you need healing!
