Not too dead

by Bruce Wadd

Not too long ago I was walking through a treed section of a park and I came across some old dried bones.  They weren’t human, but looked like a small animal.

At some point these white ‘sticks’ were covered with flesh, blood and fir, and spent most of the time moving through the bush searching for food and staying alive.  Now this creature ceases to exist.

I wondered what it looked like?  When, and how did it die?  Was it happy about death?

As humans we too have old bones hidden away in our lives, things that we struggle with, leading us to chaos, destruction and death.

God, praise Him, wants to breathe life into those bones.  He wants them gone, by giving you victory over whatever struggle you are having with sin – your old bones!

“I will put my Spirit into you, and you shall live…

Then you will know that I, the Lord,

have done just what I promised you.”

Ezekiel 37:14

TODAY, accept that you are never ‘too dead’ for Jesus!
