Nostril delights

by Bruce Wadd

Driving along in the evening as the sun was setting I witnessed a very special sight. On the back of a flat-top work truck was a dog tied up for his safety.

He and his owner looked like they were returning home from a hard day's work, but tiredness was the last thing on this canine's mind. The length of the tether allowed the dog to move from side-to-side savouring every morsel of nostril delight.

With his red tongue dangling in the breeze, this animal seemed to be extracting every last pleasure from the experience of the wind rushing past.  If the dog were human I could imagine a huge smile from ear to ear.

Your ‘Holy Spirit’ life can be exactly the same.  Everything that life brings can be treated with the same awe and wonder, knowing that God had set you free, to live to His limits.

Remember...

"My purpose is to give life in all its fullness."
John 10:10

Today, savour every moment as though it is the best!
