Market pace

by Bruce Wadd

Everyone was walking really slowly through the markets - so it seemed. Looking ... stopping … chatting … browsing ... and I was getting frustrated - I wanted to push through, but all these people were in my way!

Then I stopped, looked at those around and realized something very important – I needed to walk with the people, to understand what they were doing, before I was ever going to lose this frustration.

What a difference stopping made!  Suddenly, people began to come alive and interesting, some were even fascinating.  All this with just a different perspective!

Are you frustrated with someone?  Husband, wife, child, parent, work colleague, church member?  Stop rushing in your life.  Take the time to look through their eyes.  See from their perspective … and you will notice how things change!

In the Bible, a story was told, and, to conclude, a question was asked…

“‘Now which of these three would you say

was a neighbour to the bandit’s victim?’

The man replied, ‘The one who showed him some pity.’”
Luke 10:36,37

How much compassion are you walking with TODAY!
