Leathery omelette

by Bruce Wadd

They looked great, but as Sheree and I sat to eat the breakfast I’d made, it quickly became obvious that the omelette was far from light and feathery.  Rather, it was quite leathery!

The grace my wife showed was outstanding.  She gently guided me to the conclusion that maybe I had over-beaten the eggs, leading to this thicker undesirable texture.

My job was to accept the instruction… from the master cook herself!

I have never done ‘humble’ too well, but I found as I listened carefully new insight began to push its way into my ‘naïve (and possibly resistant) cooking’ brain - it was being transformed… by greater truth!

What part of your life needs rebuilding?  It’s as you expose it to greater truth, God’s truth, and seeking real answers that your new life begins!

“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind,

that you might understand
what is the will of God in all things.”
Romans 12:2

How leathery are you?
