Juicy fruits

by Bruce Wadd

On this cold winter’s morning with hands freezing, nose running and my whole body shivering, I find it hard to imagine a warm summer’s day. But let me tie two things together today!

Orchardists declare that a cold winter weather means luscious, juicy and tasty fruit for summer.

I was totally unaware of this fact till last summer when I noticed the poorer quality fruit arriving at the markets. Upon investigation farmers and the media declared a warmer winter was to blame for the lesser quality product.

So could it be that the difficulties you are experiencing right now, or have in the past, have a positive influence on your life?

Here’s a clear instruction for you who believe…

“No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.”

1 Thessalonians 5:18

Dare I say, bring on the cold weather!
