I won

by Bruce Wadd

Winning my first 100m and 200m race at high school was the best confidence builder!  Making my first sale as a new rep – fabulous!  Winning my first submission when stepping into the world of government funding was a real self-assurance boost!

What a blessing it is to be a winner in all areas for your life!

But let me ask you: where do your blessings come from?  What is the source of goodness in your life?  Have you acknowledged your wealth as ‘not your own’?

I believe the biggest challenge we have as growing Christians is to let God shower us with blessings, knowing that they are His and not yours.  We are merely responsible to receive and then to pass it onto others.

God led the children of Israel through the wilderness so that they would develop trust in Him.  They learned to trust God for everything, and were incredibly blessed!

Here’s something to ponder… as you step into the future.

“He fed you with manna (it was a kind of bread unknown before) in the wilderness so that you would become humble, and so that your trust in him would grow,

and He could do you good.”

Deuteronomy 8:16

Today, place your winning in Christ!
