It’s Gold… for YOU!! by Bruce Wadd The first ever Australian gold medal in ice-skating at
the Winter Olympics was won in most unusual circumstances.
On the last corner came his opportunity with several
skaters hitting the deck, but before Steven’s eyes occurred the chance he had
dreamed of. Within a breath the
skaters’ fall had turned into a mass wipe out, with every skater going down
except for him. It was only a matter of finishing the race - from last
to hero in 5 seconds! Steven Bradbury
had won gold – for himself, his family and his country. What a proud moment! That feeling of exhilaration should be yours this
morning, because every moment of today, you have won a gold with God. You don’t have to struggle to win, it is a
gift that has already been paid for…and is yours for the asking! Stand proud, yet humbled this morning, knowing that you
have the gold medal hanging around your neck, the crowd is cheering, and God
is saying congratulations…the winner!! “TODAY, you will
be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:43
