Interstate trip by Bruce Wadd
My early morning walk takes me within hearing distance of a freeway often busy in the early hours of the morning. Interstate trucks trundle past, having travelled overnight from Sydney, our neighbouring capital city.
The long trek is almost over as they are only minutes from the transport depots with their miscellaneous cargo.
They are arriving … because they have been willing to travel the journey!
It wouldn’t matter how irate you were over the phone about your precious cargo not being there, if the driver of the interstate truck wasn’t willing to travel, the package wouldn’t arrive!
Are you willing to travel the journey? What journey? The one God is asking you to do! Here’s a snippet from one of the best travel journals I know … The Shepherd’s Psalm!
“Even when walking through the dark valley of death, I will not be afraid, for You are close beside me, guarding, guiding ALL THE WAY.” Psalms 23:4
TODAY, travel well!
