Intentional mistake

by Bruce Wadd

I read of a marketing expert recently who was really angry when an expensive banner he had organised for an upcoming exhibition arrived with several glaring spelling mistakes – one being his name!

After the anger subsided a little the phone rang, and a good friend greeted him with a cheery hello. Within moments he offloaded his frustration, only to have the wisdom of the reply shatter his growing anger and resentment.

“Don’t throw it away,” she responded. “Why not have a competition and offer a prize for anyone who can spot the INTENTIONAL mistake.”

The mistake became an outstandingly successful marketing tool during the exhibition.

That’s right, the things that may look incredibly wrong in your life, can sometimes be amazingly turned into wonderful blessings if given to Him.

Are you able to release the pain, the frustration, the depression, the temptation, the shame, the jealousy, the sin?

“If you will humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, in His good time He will lift you up.”

1 Peter 5:6

TODAY, let your mistakes become His masterpiece!
