Infrastructure by Bruce Wadd
Creating a new housing estate is a massive undertaking. In Australia, before houses are even thought of, much has to be prepared. The developer's plans, council approvals, surveying, drainage, sewage, roads, electricity, gas, communications – a massive amount of infrastructure!
Often the bush or paddocks where the estate is to be established changes from pristine countryside to decimated land - it’s not pretty! Much of the initial work looks quite disorganized, with machinery, people, pipes, soil… all over the place!
But if you ask the project supervisor about the chaos, he would say that it's part of the process in preparing an estate.
Things getting messy? Been travelling through life OK until one day events began to go weird? I just wonder whether your life is like a new estate. Maybe God is installing the infrastructure for the next stage of your life?
Are you willing to trust Him with every step, despite the chaos?
“Yes, He alone is my Rock, my Rescuer, Defense and Fortress. Why then should I be tense with fear when troubles come?” Psalm 62:2
