Inadequate

by Bruce Wadd

From winding track, to dirt road, to single lane tar seal, and now to dual lane highway.  The Pacific Highway, New South Wales’ main north-south arterial route has had a long and developing history.

But it's inadequate!

The road, as it weaves through the forest near my parent's place, was more than acceptable thirty years ago.  But now with better cars, major traffic increase and society's higher expectation of public infrastructure, it's just not right to have a highway where people are regularly injured and killed.

It's old and tired and needs replacing!

Your life is the same as the highway.  What was appropriate in the past, now, seeing you love Jesus, many things are changing.  What was adequate has now become ordinary!  What was fun has now lost its attraction.

“So stay awake and be prepared,

for you do not know the date or moment of my return.”

Matthew 25:13

Let God have His way … in your life!
