I heard

by Bruce Wadd

It was Saturday morning @ 5am. Dawn wasn’t even a hint, and I was sitting at the dining table of my parent’s home on my annual visit.

I was amazed at how noisy it was. Two clocks were noticeably ticking away, with both chiming on the hour.

I had been in this kitchen and living area most of the day, and had not heard the ticks once. But in the silence of the morning my ears could focus on the many different noises occurring.

I just wonder what you are missing in your busy life. What noises aren’t being heard?

Have you stopped long enough to… do things a different way; look from a new perspective; notice the unusual or the hidden?

You might be missing something because of the noise!

“He lets me rest in the meadow grass and leads me beside the quiet streams… Your goodness and unfailing kindness shall be with me all of my life…”

Psalms 23:2,6

TODAY, may you have hear… something new, different!
