How close is OK?

by Bruce Wadd

Travelling on a freeway requires appropriate distances between cars.  The faster the speed, the greater distance needed for possible emergencies!

The same goes for busy lives.  If you want to live your life at high speed, greater is the time required for reflection and restoration.

Why do I say this?  Because I find, particularly in my western society, amazing pressure to be incredibly productive and busy, downplaying times for quietness and rest, time for thinking and maintaining perspective.

Remember …

“A dull axe requires great strength;

 be wise and sharpen the blade.”

Ecclesiastes 10:10

TODAY, How close do you want to live life?
