Hang on tighter

What is the roughest ride you have ever experienced?

Travelling in a car?
A four-wheel drive?
A beach buggy?
A fishing boat in the surf?
A sailing boat riding out a storm?
A roller-coaster ride?
On the back of a bucking bull?

What ever it may be, did you notice yourself hanging on tighter when the journey got rougher?

Quite frequently I used to travel to work in trains. Regularly, I would see school kids trying to stand in the middle of the door area without holding on. Everything went fine until there was a sudden lurch, and then they'd grab for something... anything... to hang on to!

How similar is life? It regularly brings its challenges, and now that you have God to hang on to, a whole new way of life is open to you!

TODAY, when times get tougher, go for God… hang on tighter!
