Gravity turn-off

by Bruce Wadd

The other day, in class, a teacher and her students had a discussion about something incredibly profound - experimenting with the idea of being able to ‘turn off’ gravity, and the impact that would have on our lives.

Incredible!  Scary!  Wow!  Amazing!  These were some of the student’s exclamations as they pondered the possibility.

Thankfully we don’t have to survive the chaos that would cause.  Gravity merely represents one of the natural laws put in place for our well being by a loving God.

How about unconditional love?  It’s another law that applies today.  God loves you because of who you are, not because of what you do… and that’s the Good News of the Gospel.

Like gravity, your belief in the love of God brings understanding and wisdom.

“…and humbly be glad for the wonderful message
we have received, for it is able to save our souls
as it takes hold of our hearts.”
James 1:21

Today, accept gravity, and jump into God’s love!
