Good position

by Bruce Wadd

It’s a privilege I get most mornings! Sitting on my new deck, with my laptop, writing Today’s Thought. Why is it a privilege, you ask? Let me try and explain…

When we were looking for our current home, I prepared a criteria sheet for real estate agents, outlining our family’s needs and wants re style, size and aspect of home.

Many agents thought I was crazy… even annoying. Some didn’t get it, particularly when one of the criteria included… The living area MUST be facing north or east? [probably would be south-facing in the northern hemisphere!]

Why is that so important? When living in the home, thinking about your climate in both winter and summer, predominant wind directions, sun angles throughout the year, and various other factors make such a difference to lifestyle.

My deck, sun-facing in the mornings, with a reasonable view of our garden and the hills beyond, provides a wonderful setting for thinking, writing, talking, eating… etc.

I am sure it is no different with God. Spending quality time with Him, reading and meditating on His word, having fellowship with believers, all build a good position for your life in Him… in this world and beyond!

Here’s your new godly perspective…

“Because of His kindness you have been saved through trusting Christ. And even trusting is not of yourselves;

it too is a gift from God.”

Ephesians 2:8

Live from His aspect TODAY!
